Please describe the services your practice or agency provides: : The Motivational Institute for Behavioral Health, LLC provides psychological services for a diverse population of individuals with a vast array of difficulties. In a completely nonjudgmental environment, we help clients acquire skills to become experts on themselves. Psychological services include individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy sessions.

We also provide the following assessment services: comprehensive psychological evaluations for the diagnosis of psychological disorders and difficulties; evaluations for bariatric surgery; psychoeducational evaluations for academic difficulties (learning disabilities, AD/HD, and Gifted Programs); and career assessments and guidance for individuals struggling with a career choice and/or college major.

Our office is a GLBT-friendly environment. When working with LGBT clients, we believe it is imperative to prevent further stigmatization by understanding each client as a whole by recognizing the unique concerns facing LGBT individuals and the unique characteristics of each client’s personality, medical issues, and mental health concerns.
