Dr. Danser is a dynamic and caring licensed psychologist who believes strongly that a therapeutic relationship is the foundation for empowering healthy change. She enjoys collaborating with individuals to help them build on their strengths and develop new coping skills to foster hope, self-understanding, and personal change. She primarily utilizes cognitive-behavioral techniques in her work with adults and older adults who courageously seek assistance in facing challenges, pursuing personal goals, and attaining balance in life. Some of Dr. Danser’s clinical interests include anxiety, depression, relationships concerns, lesbian and gay issues, stress, life balance, life adjustments and transitions, grief and loss, coping with medical illness, and treatment of insomnia symptoms.
Dr. Danser achieved her Ph.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. Her psychology internship was completed at the Miami VA Medical Center with a specialization in Behavioral Medicine and rotations in Extended Care, PTSD, Sleep Disorders, Spinal Cord Injury, and Weight Management. Her post-doctoral residency was completed in a private practice setting in Fort Lauderdale.
Dr. Danser is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Florida Psychological Association (FPA), and Sigma Beta Delta Business Honor Society.
